About Us
Founded in July 2025, our journey began as a mobile bookstore, bringing the joy of reading to life through pop-ups at local coffee shops, festivals, and community gatherings. The enthusiastic support we received allowed us to grow quickly, leading to the opening of our brick-and-mortar home in downtown Winnsboro in November 2025. Today, we are proud to be an independent bookstore rooted in community, offering a thoughtfully curated selection of new books across all genres alongside boutique clothing, distinctive stationery, and unique gifts. More than a store, we are a welcoming space designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and connection—celebrating stories in all their forms and the people who love them.
Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Megan Roberts, and I’m so glad you’re here. During the work week, I’m a kindergarten teacher at Baskin Elementary, where I get to help nurture curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning in my students. At heart, I’m a lifelong reader who loves books of every genre and truly believes in the power of stories to connect us. I’m a wife to my husband, Dylan, and a proud mom to our daughter, Georgia, and our son, Ford—my greatest inspirations. This bookstore and clothing boutique is a dream rooted in community: a welcoming space where conversations are open, ideas are shared, and everyone feels at home. My hope is that this shop becomes more than a place to browse—it’s a place to gather, to feel inspired, and to connect through stories, style, and the joy of being together.
